So this weekend I took my little brother to see Frozen, the new Disney animated film. As a Disney Princess enthusiast I was a little skeptical on how Elsa and Anna would live up to the big name princess like Belle, Ariel, Snow and Cinderella. Let's be honest, no one is as perfect, flawless and amazing as the original princesses.
I was seeing a lot of buzz around the internet about how this was the best Disney movie yet and how Elsa lived up to being a true queen. I was also hearing about the deception, the heartache, the love, and the comedy so I went into this movie with an open mind.
Within minutes of the movie starting I was in LOVE. It was playful, fun, inspiration and beautiful. One of the biggest theme's of the movie was "an act of true love". As a Disney fanatic and an avid Disney fan since a very young age I grew up with the notion that in order to break a "curse" or find a solution you had to find "True Loves Kiss". Frozen broke that trend. Thanks Disney only took you 76 years to end that trend. Sorry Brave, didn't mean to leave you out.
One scene of the movie which I will not spoil is the deception that is portrayed. I was so angry, parents around me screamed, children cried and everyone was left in "gasps". To me......it was worse then *SPOILER* Mufasa dying in the Lion King. Yes, I kid you not.. worse then Mufasa being murdered by his brother.
I am now officially in LOVE with Christoff. He is not a prince, but he is a prince in my heart. Olaf was hysterical and loving, "Some people are worth melting for" literally melted my heart and lastly Sven....well he's Sven and his reactions are fab.
As a music fantastic the soundtrack to Frozen is hands down one of my favorite soundtracks and is constantly on play in my house. The music which is composed by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez , Christophe Beck and Frode Fjellheim. First off, who knew Kristen Bell could sing! NOT I!! She was fantastic and extremely talented. I already loved her from her previous work since she is so cute, quirky and relate able which made her so PERFECT for Anna.
It was a Glee/ Broadway reunion for me as well watching the movie since Jonathan Groff and Idina Mendel were also stars of the movie. I have seen both on Broadway and I was not disappointed with their performances, especially Idina's. When she was performing "Let it Go" I felt her true emotion and I felt like I was watching her live performance. I was speechless and actually cried in the theater since it was so beautiful.
Overall, the movie was beautiful, meaningful and did project the right message to young girls and boys. I do not want to spoil it anymore, but I give this movie 7 out of 5 stars because it is off the charts. I loved it and everyone who I have spoken to has agreed. Frozen was on fire!

My First post went a little like this..
Hey there folks, name's Ashley. I am a music loving, health enthusiastic, optimistic 23 year old with a witty personality and a slight obsession with all things Disney. I have never thought about starting a blog before, until I noticed my Pintrest, Instagram, and Facebook were being overwhelmed by my creative ideas and thoughts about certain topics. With the suggestion of a co-worker they said, "Hey why not start a blog?'
I pondered on this for a while, and then thought, "Well? Hey why not?!?" I know I am constantly searching the web for recipes, all things Disney, and great music listens and I am the go to person for my friends and family to ask, WHERE DID YOU FIND THIS?!
I thought about what my "niche" would be, and I realized that what I am good at/ enjoy is helping other people. So what you will see on this blog are re-post of things I enjoy, my thoughts on topics (mostly Disney/ movies), and music choice. I also search the web for inspiration quotes/ post so I will always end a blog with an inspiration thought of the day. Some may be my own or from another source. I am extremely excited to start my blogging journey and I hope you all will follow me on this adventure.
